Rick's (PMP) WIP thread of varied wonder

Hi Folks, my name is Rick :)

 

It has been quite a LONG time since i was an active new member of B&C, life got in the way and career etc etc.

 

However after a rather tumultuous 2016 (Marriage, redundancy after 5 years and started my own small business) i have found myself settled a bit more and have come back to a few forums and groups i had left as i wasnt able to be very active.

 

I started as a commission miniature painter proper in November of last year and the business is growing steadily.  I have a few bits on and one of them is for a member of this very forum, he will have WIP pics of some work i am doing with him later in the year.

 

However i felt i should have a WIP thread of my own for my personal projects and Marine\GW based client work (I assume things that aren't very 40k related should be left off the WIP threads??).

 

I am not using this space to advertise (there is a link in signature if anyone is curious) this is just to post stuff i am doing (like my Imperial Fists)  or any client work that members may be interested in seeing.

 

I hope to be more active than i was when i first joined up quite a few years ago :).

Started working on a mates commission of Blooad angels stormravens and some SW landspeeders.

 

Good fun to play with the airbrush and work on some OSL ideas and reworking some already partly painted models (The red was already done with a brush) used the airbrush to flatten it out and smooth the overall finish.

Hi folks, a bit of a continuation of a previous blood angel commission, this time its some elites.

 

Basic batch painting of base colours of the details stuff like red banding and bone etc, black was a trio of basic black, then 2 blue grey shades to add some depth. edge highlighting to be done later :)

Hi all, ive been mostly bashing through on a few of my GD entries for Warhammer fest in may.  I completed the first entry in the masters category which you have to use the Knight Questor model specifically for this category this year.

Wow, your painting is amazing! Loving the blue armour on the knight questor, the amount of detail on the armour is crazy.

Please post 40k related work only - non-40k imagery is to be removed. This rule of the B&C has not changed so it is not much to ask that this is respected. Thanks.

Sorry warriorfish, i didnt know that rule, i hadn't assumed it was just 40k for painting miniature posts etc. I'll know for next time
