BrassClaw
Hey Chaos Kiddies So I have been playing around with lists, and I was wondering what are the good choices in the fast attack section for us R&H? Nothing scream out "Oh you got to take them". Spawn seem decent, are sentinels any good? Looking forward to some of your thoughts Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/ Share on other sites
Tamika
Sentinels with Lascannons seem decent Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4857680 Share on other sites
Karinon
I have 12 spawn, although they lost covenants due to the FAQ. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4857790 Share on other sites
Akrim
Spawn are really good. I think Hellhounds are worth it for their cost. Sentinels are ok if you want a stop gap measure (blocking assaults). I would rather leave heavy weapons to Disciples. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4858369 Share on other sites

Tamika
Rough Riders are the best. How do you represent that on the tabletop with the Renegades list Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4859608 Share on other sites

Kinstryfe
Oh, I did this one ages ago. Marauder Horsemen, with flak armour torso, arms and heads of your choice. Add Spears from the kit liberally or to taste. Works practically seamlessly. http://i.imgur.com/C33En8j.jpg Edited August 17, 2017 by Kinstryfe N1SB and Azekai 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4859833 Share on other sites

Azekai
Everyone knows as soon as a guard regiment goes rogue, the first thing they do is butcher and eat those tasty, tasty ponies. JackAr34
I've found that a generic Hellhound is an excellent unit for RnH. They make decent medium tanks, have a 2 wound gun for hurting Primaris and characters, autohit to make up for moving and shooting heavy weapons, and are fast enough to support most of the field. Chaos spawn make good distraction units and can tie people up in combat for a round or two, though I don't find they make their points back very often. Nurgleprobe
.....you know, I KNEW there was a reason these guys were still packed away in a box instead of with all my other stuff... I would allow you to play them as Spawns in a game to get some use out of them. The effects the spawns get would not be that hard to explain for a cavalry unit. :D (But maybe not so fun if you want to try and stay pure to the units/list). Kinstryfe
I have 10 spawn for that purpose. The riders are simply part of my army that is evidently corruption proof, and will only be brought out when my heretics are masquerading as loyal imperial pigdogs. :) Nurgleprobe 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338148-rh-fast-attack-options/#findComment-4862445 Share on other sites
