Primaris-only Chapter's 10th Company?

as i said earlier, it seems like it'd be as possible as making a full grown man into a space marine - something they couldnt even do during the heresy.

 

It may be that they can just add the organs later and it works, but we don't know either way.

 

I do hope it turns out there is a process they follow which works, as my own captain should be my old marine captain after being elevated, but for now i'll assume its a totally different chap.

 

Agreed. Though with a caveat - I hope the process has some kind of downside. Even good news should come with some bad. This is grimdark after all.  

 

Getting too much into speculation territory there, though. Best left alone, I suppose. 

 

Anything in the fluff that suggests what type of company (battle/reserve) most Primaris reinforcements would be assigned to?

This lack of information or confirmation wrt Primaris only Chapter organisation is the reason I have put them on the back burner for the moment while I consider where they are heading. At the moment my head canon has me running with a 9 company Chapter until I know more.
