Diavlo
Hi Brothers I have decided that I won't accept new lore as it is and as always I'll reject the reality and create my own. Therefore do not listen to the heretic propaganda. Rumors about new so called primaris marines are spread by heretics, do not believe them. Work of our beloved Emperor is perfect and no one could improve that. What you saw was an ancient marine armour that is a little bulkier than most of the marine armor. As the first legion have nothing to hide, we embrace among us the new founding and this wonderful ancient armor provided by the mars mechanicum. I post a proof below: I hope I'll keep on track and modify all Marines I have yet unfinished, when I do then I'll move to the painted ones. Although that will be 2045 and I hope I'll be still alive. Diavlo
Checking how they look in green. For now goes slow, but should speed up as at the moment I'm trying various different methods for true scale. Dark Rage
As far as true scale goes they look good, you seem to have got the scale spot on with the primaris marines. I plan to do a squad similar in my company at some point but as far as fluff goes they are a squad of veterans within the company that underwent primaris 'conversion' and wanted to remain with the armour they had thought with throughout the ages, therefore they had their armour re-forged to fit their new 'bodies'. That's why I reject official primaris GW stand as heretic propaganda. Primaris is just new foudning with new armor that just look bigger, marines inside are the same. Thats why my all marines will be the size of primaris so there is no difference. graysparrow 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338165-primaris-among-equals/#findComment-4862744 Share on other sites

Diavlo
WIP progress, far from finished, but while i learn how to properly fill the gaps and then sand it all I wanted to have a target in sight therefore I've decided to give them more meaningful state. I don't think I'll keep painting them to the "finish" state, but now will focus on making more primaris in mk6, mk7 armors, later I'll take the earlier armors. Posting here adds additional motivation so you'll see them coming. btw whats the better way to post pictures here than B&C profile gallery? Diavlo
First batch is in second row, added some paint to them. New batch is in front waiting for finish touches and till putty hardens and i can sand it off. Malakithe
I've been trying to figure out how to do robed Primaris Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338165-primaris-among-equals/#findComment-4888940 Share on other sites
Diavlo
I've been trying to figure out how to do robed Primaris The one you can see at the last photo is pretty simple and looks good. I've just cut below the rope, and add there 3mm plasticard, but don't cut it exactly where robe ends but make the plasticard bits smaller just 3mmx3mm essentially box 3x3x3 then use putty like greenstuff around it and smooth it so that it connects to real robe below. Then I add only 1mm beloe feet and thats it 4mm higher is enough. The bigger problem is with those that squat in robes, there I have already one try that I'm not happy with, but I'm on it. Diavlo
Switched to assault marines, to check if its going to be any harder. Getting better in sanding.
