Are Verlo
I´m painting some Steel Legion imperial guard to go with my "blood angels at the battle for Armageddon". Good thing I kept on to my old 3rd ed Codex: Armageddon. The SL vehicles were painted using rotting flesh for the stripes. GW have subsitited that colour for nurgling green, and the later is much more green? Do any of you fine gents have any ideas for a compatilbe paint? I want my tanks to look somewhat like the SL vehicles in codex: armageddon. Edit: Shall I ask the mods to move this to the IG forums? Arkhanist
When I did a comparison to a very old pot of Rotting Flesh a while back, army painter Necrotic Flesh was a good match - it's not as green as some pictures show it (and definitely less green than Nurgling) - it was close enough for my purposes. Alternatively, coat d'arms use the same paint manufacturer as the old GW paint range, so their Putrid Green should be near identical - but I've not checked personally.
