Gherrick
My morning coffee isn't working yet, so I can't recall the real name of the rooftops of forts, but there doesn't seem to be anything about them in the index. Can you place models on top of a bunker/bastion/et al, and do they get cover? Seems like a huge oversight if the official answer is no to either. Karhedron
I think probably not. Bunkers etc are units in their own right in 8th edition, not pieces of terrain. I could be wrong. bozo69pd
If they are ruins then sure. If they are units and are purchased/have data slates then no. They are treated strictly as transports if I recall. Jarl Deathwolf
Is parapet the word you are looking for? I had built 7 bunkers leading into 8th edition, each with a parapet. Since models within a fortification can all fire out and draw line of sight easily, I mostly just use the top to store the models that are inside the building. Otherwise, no I haven't seen anything saying that you can use a fortress's roof like a defense line. Gherrick
Forts all have the vehicle keyword, along with immobile. Unfortunate they loose their roof.
