Blastmasters for Sonic Dread / Helbrute

Hi guys

 

I am planning to build 2 Helbrutes. one from DV and one from the standard Kit. I am going to magnetize them and make the DV one also comatible to all the other equipment choices. Allready did that before so no Problem.

 

Now the main question. Has anyone here made a Blasmaster for a Sonic Helbrute yet? I have two Ideas.

1. Take the Seargeant Backpack from the Upgrade kit and cut the "Doom siren" off, so i could be used as the front part of a twin linked blastmaster and combining it wit some sort of Plastic tubes maybe?

 

2. Take the Cacophone Grill and make some thing out of that but then it would not look twin linked and would not have a similar look to the blasmasters the noise marines are carrying.

 

I don't want to use the Blasmasters out of the upgrade kit, because it would take two of them and it is to costy in my opinion.

 

Any other Ideas?

 

I am also planning to convert the heavy flamer of the chaos terminator kit to a Doom Siren / Blastmaster so it could still count as a Flamer or whatever.

i've been making sonic weapons for my noisae marines from the hellblaster kit, and for vehicles using the plasma cannons from the forgefiend

some greenstuffing for extra cables and they look pretty good imo

alternatively multimeltas could work as a good base

Thanks for the reply Brother.

 

Recently I started thining about making them from the Plasma Cannon of the Helbrute Kit.
CUtting them in Half, and making it longer with some tubes, adding cables and adding a grill inside of the Mouth.

THe forgefeind cannone looks similar. Isn't it a bit too big?

I haven't bought a multi-part hellbrute so I dunno about size comparisons but they look pretty similar to me

the reason for me going with the forgefiend guns was having them spare ^_^
