First models

So here are some WiPs of my first ever models, Reivers destined to join the first company of the Storm Lions. Things I've learned so far include: I like dry brushing more than edge highlighting and when dry brushing to that before the details. Also, don't assemble the whole model first.

-Sergeant. I couldn't get the second eye to look right so I gave him a scar over it instead. I still have to clean up around the skull.

What do I plan on doing next? Finish the dry brush on the rest of my guys, highlights on the gold and blue, and do up the base in undergrowth and static grass.

The pictures look abit small to get a good look at them, but dry brushing is a very easy method to add details to a force very quickly to get them on the tabletop

Nice work, a hell of a lot better than my first models ever were! You have a decent grasp of the basics, so really all I can advise is keep practicing, and you'll keep getting better. You're certainly off to a strong start and I look forward to seeing more :)

For first models these are very nice indeed. Eyes can be a pain to get right not matter how long you've been painting but you did a very good job on the flesh tones. :tu:

Just about done, I think. Just going to put some static grass down with some rocks and clean up the bases. Maybe a few other odds and ends.
