Salamander scout tank vs scout sentinel.

Looking through indexes and started to wonder if the salamander is a better choice for fast attack. You get better armor, bigger footprint, tougher, more wounds and still get the scout move. All for just under 80 points vs the 52 (?)of the sentinel.

To throw in a third option: Salamander command vehicle.

You get the scout move and can grant a +1 (shooting) To Hit bonus to a nearby vehicle.

 

I was planning to make a Salamander Scout but changed to a command one.

Yep seen that and it's a neat option but I was kind of looking at filling FA slots in a brigade.
