Midlight
But it rains outside... and I'm not sure that counts for thinning your paints. Magos Takatus, Honda, Frater Cornelius and 5 others 8 Back to top

wamphiry
During summer I usually paint on my balcony. Only problem is the greek heat, even my wet pallete dries up and that kind of sucks

Kastor Krieg
But there's people outside. Hell is other people, ergo painting outside is painting in the warp. Disruptor_fe404
You know, I hadn't really thought about it before, but I could totally buy a folding table like you have there, and paint on my balcony now that summer is coming up... Â Thanks for the idea! Kastor Krieg 1 Back to top

sockwithaticket
I live in the South-East of England, possibly the warmest, driest bit of the country and it still wouldn't be worth setting up outside in the Summer as 60% of the time you'd be going straight back in after about 10 minutes due to the weather. You lucky  . Cyrox
I live on the outskirts of Bolton, which has a weather system not unlike Kamino! Â When it's nice though, will take your advice and paint in the garden.

Magos Takatus
Last time I decided to work outside I lost a tiny piece of my model aircraft in the lawn somewhere. I haven't assembled or painted models outside since. Besides, I'd probably get attacked by pigeons and ants knowing my luck.   If I need to experience outside I can open a window.
Doghouse
I'd love to spend long hours painting. :( Â To be honest though sitting out in the garden and painting, weather permitting, is actually a great way to paint because of the natural lighting...unless like me it's the shed you are painting. Slave to Darkness
Last time I tried painting outside I managed one brush stroke and then the paint was virtually dry on my brush.  Safer indoors, no people, bugs, random cats or invading aliens. D3L 1 Back to top

Kristoff
I live in Arizona. It gets so hot outside that plastic spears that are not laid down are bent by the time you get to the game store. We think a 45 C day is "cooling off" if the monsoon hasn't hit. Humidity? We think it's high at 40%, averaging 14-20% during the year. If I don't have a monsoon that day or the day before, the paint is destroyed if I take it outside any time between 9am and 7pm.
