The Wolfguard
So I had an odd thought today when looking at Custodes and the SoS. Is there any point to running a SoS force if the enemy doesn't have any psykers or the like? Are you basically just gimping your own chances of winning by doing that? I quite like a few of the models and I've liked Celestine for a while but was unsure of how I'd use Celestine (she doesn't thematically fit in my army) and sisters of battle models are a bit too.. err.. old for me. klisof
In 40k? Lack of any decent anti-tank options is going to gimp you if you are only bringing SOS. Your only option is HK missiles on rhinos, unless the dice gods love you that's not good enough. Celestine or an Inquisitor leading a combined talons army of sisters and custodes should work, i think the two halves of the talons list cover each others weakness quite well. IntoBread
I've been playing astra telepathica this edition and the sisters can hold their own. Sword sisters can cut through terminators for fun with their d3 damage. Bolters are less impressive but cheap and flamers can be a nice deterrent. If they had a hq option I'd definitely think Sisters of silence were viable. Toughness 8 is where the army doesn't hold its own for pure sisters librisrouge 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338681-sisters-of-silence-as-an-army/#findComment-4870181 Share on other sites
