I doubt it's anything huge, just reboxing, rebasing, or some such.

It happens pretty often

why must you crush our dreams. I still hope that we get better scaled SM's. At least DG sized.

Part fun, part resignation at seeing another topic about models being removed from the website so it obviously means XXXXX is going to happen. Stumble by the N&R subforum, I swear this makes up maybe 70% of the posts. (the rest are contradicting rumors and announcements)

If you're looking for scale, better stock up on the Primaris line. It isnt worth GW's money to rescale all of their existing SM ranges.

While I agree with everything you said there is only 1 reason i see them redoing the lineup. IF and i mean a big IF the molds are beginning to degrade and they need to replace them then I can see it happening. Also wasnt it said the SW and BA had some of the oldest molds still in use while the Codex marine was only recently replaced? So take the opportunity to get rescaled models out while replacing the molds. Other than that I see no reason why GW would replace the molds.

You can see that because you are a fan of the models.

Does a bean counter see that? Do they see a desire to rescale the already existing molds, meaning more time and money on an investment that is already making them money hand over fist, or simply reproduce aging molds at a significantly lower cost while still making money off of existing stock?

For the last few years, every time the T-Hawk or Titan molds get redone this same line of thought springs up...Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

So you are saying I need to get into GW, take over as a major head of whatever and fire the bean counters and create true-scale marines? hmm I've done more difficult things. Be back in 10 years, this will take time.

"Coldheart, what is best in life?"

"To crush your dreams, to see them dwindle before you, and to hear the lamentations of hobbyists"
