This is the start of my very own Space Marine Chapter. I used to have a space wolfs army way back in the 90. ( sorry no pictures). I left Warhammer 40k many years ago and started a new when 8th edition came out. Sorry for the rather long text, but I wanted to write my own fluff explaining why my chapter looks as is.

So here is the first finished model of my chapter marines. A primaris marine sergeant.

The model looks good. Are the "White Knights" an Imperial Fists successor? Will the Chapter name remain "White Knights", or will you choose a more dramatic name later, e.g., "Albi Cavaliers"?

At the moment it will remain White Knights . Yes they are an Imperial Fist successor. More on the fluff for the chapter later.

This is Bruder Erich of the White Knights of the Ordo Teutonicus.

 

 

Bruder Erich is a member of the 2nd Schlachtkompanie 1st Gruppe lead by Komtur Hermann. He took part in the cleansing of Antioch Beta together with elements of the 2nd Schlachtkompanie and the 1st Schlachtkompanie ” Die Mondkrieger” under 2nd Kompanie Meister Thomas. More about the history, Creation,Homeworld, Combat Doctrine, Organization, Look and Belief of the Space Marines of the Ordo Teutonicus will follow shortly.

Is "Gruppe" the White Knights term for "Squad" (approximately 10 Marines), or "Platoon" (approximately 20-40 Marines)?

Looks to be German-based, so I'm guessing squad.

Yes Gruppe is the Squad and Zug would be Platoon , I think aproximately half a company would be a Zug lead by a Lieutenant . The Lieutenant in my chapter would be a Hochkomtur.

I changed the Name of the Chapter into GALACTIC KNIGHTS as I got some very bad feedback on Facebook about the name White Knights being a synonym for the KKK in the US . You can read more about it here:  https://wargamesgazette.com/2017/09/04/to-make-something-as-clear-as-possible/  if you want .
