Hey everyone

Very early WIP for these! And a nice counter point to my Grey Knight army

Colour wise...I'm thinking I'll mix the pre and post heresy schemes to come up with a purple, pink, black and gold design. I'm pretty much fed up with painting silver on my Grey Knights!

Bases are a ruined imperial palace design, quite fitting for the army I think.

Not sure if I'll have the amplifier (a 'Marshell stack'? ) on their backs or on the base...might do one squad of each style!

The guitars + amps represent sonic blasters. I've got some old school metal Blast Master models too.

This is technically a Lord in power armour model, but I'm going to use him as a champion for my close combat noise marines squad.

Pure luck...a guy on ebay was selling a lot of Noise Marines and amps that he'd made and casted himself...it was a project he didn't have time for.

 

I'd literally just grabbed my marines elsewhere, so i emailed to ask about the amps - he had some left so he sold me 40 of them! Really lucky, good timing.

First monster type creature I've done...tried to make it look like his skin is like armour in places....like he's become merged with it over the years of roaming the warp. Really pleased with how the face and mouth came out!
