I loved the aggression and the potential to wreck face or die trying. Khorne has long been a favorite Chaos deity of mine, as he is the most straightforward. He has no ulterior motives, he cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows! I built a couple of bezerkers and CSM that I had painted up generically red, but they have been kicking around in boxes for a long while and are now getting a much-deserved soak in Simple Green. More recently, I have started a new project, in which I try to convert the awesome sculpts of AOS Blood Bound into some usable 40k counterparts. First up: my Khârn replacement. I took the funky Lord with a dog out of the AOS starter set, and did a simple head swap with a few extra bits tacked on. Looks surprisingly good, if I do say so myself! Some of my earlier work includes: A nasty Hellbrute A gnarly Lord with Jump Pack Lastly, an old picture of the Bezerkers I have since finished basing. Nothing fancy, just some quick and dirty paintjobs to get them on the table. However, I may be ditching these in the future in favor of my own kitbashed Bezerkers as I finish them. Biohazard Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Khârn stand in looks good but I do think the helmet needs to be a bit more special for it to instantly read as Khârn. As the Traitor suggests maybe look at a Berserker helmet? They're pretty easy to work with if you're not keen on any of the faceplates that the standard box has. :tu: The Helbrutes are looking good and I'd really like to have a closer look at the Termi Lord.
