NatBrannigan
So now blast templates have gone I've started using movement trays for my Infantry. I know others do as well and have asked where I got my trays from. Well Element games (elementgames.co.uk) have just released their own trays and they're perfect for Guard. I'll be replacing mine, check out their site if you're interested. I don't work for the company or anything, just something I stumbled across. duz_ 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/ Share on other sites

WarriorFish
Do you mean these trays Nat? A good idea with the round bases to enable you to move them without taking excessive room :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/#findComment-4878629 Share on other sites

NatBrannigan
That'll be them! They look like they give you a nice bit of flexibility while still letting the more anal amongst us have their Infantry in nice, neat firing lines. Even some there for Bullgryns and Rough Riders / DKOK cav. Halfpint100
I tried using them. But terrain.... and deploying them normally can cover more ground for deep strike denial, etc Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/#findComment-4878675 Share on other sites
NatBrannigan
But they make sure your Infantry are in straight lines! I think someone needs their priorities sorted! "Denying deep strike"? "Using Terrain"? Honestly... lash144, Jolemai, Mithrilforge and 2 others 5 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/#findComment-4878694 Share on other sites

Shamansky
Simple construction. Only needs a laser graver to reproduce. And i have one at my disposal. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/#findComment-4878715 Share on other sites
NatBrannigan
Praetorian Guard thank you very much! These would be pretty easy to make, especially if you have the gear, but at £12 for 8 i'm happy enough. I might even consider some of the cloud ones for my Conscripts. NatBrannigan
Maybe some kind of movement tray that you could put these movement trays on? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339111-movement-trays/#findComment-4880477 Share on other sites
Level9red
I like the look of these, I sort of wish they did them in 4s for the new command squads. Has anyone ever found a 10 man one with a space for a heavy weapon team? I haven't so far. Thanks. Ranulf
Thin plywood, drill, 25mm spade bit, small hacksaw and sandpaper will do the trick, custom built to suit the style you're after. I used to use Evergreen Plasticard until it got ridiculously expensive.
