Movement Trays

So now blast templates have gone I've started using movement trays for my Infantry. I know others do as well and have asked where I got my trays from.

 

Well Element games (elementgames.co.uk) have just released their own trays and they're perfect for Guard. I'll be replacing mine, check out their site if you're interested.

 

I don't work for the company or anything, just something I stumbled across.

Do you mean these trays Nat? A good idea with the round bases to enable you to move them without taking excessive room :)

That'll be them! They look like they give you a nice bit of flexibility while still letting the more anal amongst us have their Infantry in nice, neat firing lines.

 

Even some there for Bullgryns and Rough Riders / DKOK cav.

I tried using them. But terrain.... and deploying them normally can cover more ground for deep strike denial, etc

But they make sure your Infantry are in straight lines! I think someone needs their priorities sorted! "Denying deep strike"? "Using Terrain"? Honestly...

Simple construction. Only needs a laser graver to reproduce. And i have one at my disposal.

These would be pretty easy to make, especially if you have the gear, but at £12 for 8 i'm happy enough. I might even consider some of the cloud ones for my Conscripts.

I like the look of these, I sort of wish they did them in 4s for the new command squads. Has anyone ever found a 10 man one with a space for a heavy weapon team? I haven't so far.

Thin plywood, drill, 25mm spade bit, small hacksaw and sandpaper will do the trick, custom built to suit the style you're after. I used to use Evergreen Plasticard until it got ridiculously expensive.
