If I weren't expecting proper Noise Marines within the next 1-2 yeasr then I'd definitely go and convert some Primaris into Chaos Marines. ^^

 

hellblasters into noise marines works pretty well imo

 

If it wouldn't work well I wouldn't consider it in the first place. ;)

I've seen on a FB page a request for a side by side picture of Guilliman and a Daemon Prince... They are almost identical in size and bulk.

 

That got the attention of quite a few and it sounds like a project on top of my conversion list too for the future.

 

I'm very curious if others are doing something similar, and if so what the direction and results are.

Do you by chance have a link to this image? I have been thinking about converting Roboute to a DP but I don't want to spring for the model unless I can see it's size in comparison to a DP first.

I can't link to it with my mobile phone so here it is hosted externally. It's the only comparison pic on that thread, took some time to dig up =)

 

Bobby G looks a bit slimmer but the off angle isn't helping the comparison. The height seems OK though.

I bought the box with 3 space marines and decided to make HQ from them, using remaining Terminator Lord/Sorcerer parts. 

I got two Chaos lords and Sorcerer. Two of them need jump packs, but I don't have them yet

For a Dark Mechanicus army, perhaps, I'd love to do a Predator counts-as based on the Onager Dunecrawler model, with modifications to the turret and the legs replaced with treads. In case you're wondering why; So I can make it look like this of course!

 

Granted, a more faithful adaptation would be more suitable for an Imperial army, but the basic concept (light tank with articulated tread units) would work for just about any army IMO. Plus, I'm a shameless weeaboo and Dominion Tank Police was awesome, so...
