And they take away your HQ slots. I hate having to buy the same two HQs when I am not running GM. But re-rolls are simply too good to pass up. Their existence alone limits design space by a huge amount. They can introduce the most awesome HQ ever, I am sure that if he does not bring re-rolls, Marines will not run him in a non-GM list.
