Shroudpsalm vs Overwatch

Self explanatory title!

Would shroudpsalm give my units a cover save against an Overwatching enemy after I declare a charge?

I'm fairly sure that would be a yes.

 

What if a unit starts a charge from in cover? You have to be in range of a weapon to face Overwatch at the point you declare the charge. So it would be fair to assume at point of declaring the charge, if your in cover you will still get a cover save?

I've tried googling and searching a few Overwatch threads but haven't found any discussion on cover.

For all intents and purposes, you count as being in cover when shot at.

 

So yes, you'd get the +1 to your save even against overwatch.
