I bought stormclaw when it came out, and I have a box of trukk boys as well as 20 or so extra grots. That Should give me 12 boyz, a trukk, 5 nobz, 3 killa kans, 30 grots, runtherd, and a warboss. Where to go from here? I've never played a horde army before and the idea intrigues me. Redtoof Posted September 14, 2017 Share Posted September 14, 2017 If you can get the contents of the Black reach box off eBay that will help a lot. My suggestion from here is more boyz. I think you'll want to initially have nobs with the boss riding in the trukk while a load of boyz, grots and kans walk. A kustom force field would be very helpful. Youll want nobs with klaws or uge choppas leading your mobs, so the extra nobs from the Black reach set would be fine to take their place from the nob squad. Black reach also comes with deffkoptas, which are quite good for harassing. After that it's up to you. Battlewagons with tankbustas in are a thing I'm liking the look of. I'd like to build up a battallion detachment's worth of orks so... I've never used a 'naut, but they both look quite useful to a walky/stompy army. If they were still, that would be something to add to an ork force. I like stompy robots, so A Gorkanaut or 2 migght be in the future, if I do decide to build orks. They're cheap, and Da Jump is a super fun power. After that, I've had a lot of fun with the mek/big guns, and stormboyz.
