The Changeling - Transmogrification

Hi Guys,

 

I have a question about the changelings rule Locus of Transmogrification.

 

It says that friendly Tzeentch Daemons within 9 inchs get a buff that makes units trying to hit them -1 to hit. 

 

If I am play Chaos space marines and I have a unit of possessed with the mark of Tzeentch making the Unit both Tzeentch and with the keyword Daemon. Will they get the buff from the Changeling?

 

As far as I can tell they do, but also the Daemon in this case is a Keyword not a Faction Keyword. Not sure if that makes a difference. Any and all opinions would be appreciated. :)

The fact that a keyword is faction or not has no bearing in the game except for list building.

 

This is specifically addressed in the designer's comments :

 

Q: What is the difference between a keyword and a
Faction keyword?
A: The only real difference is that Faction keywords are
used when building an army; [...].

Once the battle has begun, there is
no functional difference between a keyword and a
Faction keyword.
