Laughingman
Got a question, I am interested in equipping my recently completed carcharodons army with esoteric melee weapons, Sabres, Daos, etc. I have found suitable 3rd party weapons however they lack hands attached to the grip. Where would one acquire hands for such a conversion? Alternatively are there particular bits that are adapt for such conversion? Major_Gilbear
If you look on eBay or an online bits-seller, you should be able to pick some up easily enough. For example: link. Most Space Marine kits have at least a few, although you may need to cut a pistol or such from them, so it's worth having a bit of a search until you find the ones that you like. As a side-note, it's also worth looking for a variety of left arms besides the bolter-holding ones, as these will allow your Marines to hold their melee weapons in a more varied and natural range of poses. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/339821-hands-for-melee-weapons-conversions/#findComment-4895822 Share on other sites
hushrong
I cannot see the link on the computer I am using but a set of bits to look for are the Dark Angels command bike/black knights weapons when going on eBay. There are several hands holding weapons and with some clipping, sculpting, and gluing I think they go a long way. In fact I just used one sword hand, removed the blade, and replaced it with an older WHFB sword and I think it worked like a charm. There are other sets of course but that is a recent one I just used. Someimes I have just reused power sword and combat knife hands as well.
