Hey everyone! I've finally committed to an idea for my army and am working my way through repainting a metric ton of miniatures (note: The Emperor always condones over estimating the size of your available force!)

I've decided to do a mixture of Catachan and Cadian forces. I'm going to rely heavily on infantry with long range artillery support and tanks. The common belief amongst the 155th "the bigger the boom the better the battle!"

We will conquer the Xenos and punish the Heretics using wave after wave of advancing soldiers and punishing heavy support. The 155th eschew the concept for fast attack! War isn't meant to be a race, it's a grind! If high command determines a need for a "surgical strike" -perhaps- a small division of Scions will be available to neuter the enemy!

I'll get some pictures up for a WIP thread soon, but I just thought I'd introduce the newest "official" addition to this fine board!

Welcome to the ranks! :D

Sounds like you already have a lot of your army collect, or are there still pieces you need to collect?

Will it be a unified colour scheme for the forces or will they between Catachan, Cadian and armoured support?

So whens the first pictures coming up, the Commissariat require a trooping of the colour immediately! ;)

I'm doing them up in "similar" color schemes, I'm keeping the Cadians distinctly Cadian... but the Catachans will be more Cadian with "jungle flair"!

I have many, many pieces already - somewhere around 100 Catachans, 50 Cadians, 10-13 HWT (magnetized to swap AC for Lascannon and some old metal mortar, ML, and HB teams), 8 LRs (again mostly all magnetized to swap turret weapons as well as hull and sponson), manticore, basilisk, hellhound, and a Shadowsword.

About 1/2 of army I purchased from someone and it's already painted. The vehicles look decent so I'll leave them and just touch up, but the infantry were god awful!

I'm currently making a kit-bashed Harker and Straken!
