Leman Russes - How to most efficiently equip them?

I liked them before when different armour values was a thing for side & rear. You could put them on armoured sentinels or anything with outflank etc and snipe out the lower AV on vehicles. They seem cheap at 6 points but I'm not sure it's worth it on anything BS4+. Will try it. I was thinking about using the Overlapping Fields of Fire stratagem in combination with spamming the missiles across all vehicles. It seems to synergy when you burn the a stratagem and all the one use missiles in a single turn. I don't think many players would be using the Overlapping Fields of Fire more than once either so it does seem fitting for each other. Something worth a try at least!

There was a time I threw Hunter Killer missiles on everything. Point costs (& efficiencies) were more lopsided then unlike now where a little savings can have a big return.

Ran two Russes in a small local tournament yesterday. One Punisher Commander with Plasma Cannons and Lascannon, one Executioner with Plasma and Las.

 

The Punisher was an absolute monster, just tearing things apart with all that firepower. The Executioner worked well as an escort tank. Since I run Tallarn, both were free to move pretty frequently and I got good use of of the unique Tallarn order at one point.

 

I really like the Executioner for taking down 2 Wound heavy Infantry nice and reliably. It put paid to a few Terminators over the course of the day, haha.
