::Imperial Industry:: "steel legion" modeling test

So while mostly a chaos player I do dabble in imperial models from time to time, so I'm starting a log for those projects that fall in the loyalists realm.

 

Me and my fellow hobbyists and co-workers have all started discussing the potential of imperial guard since the release of the codex. And I feel as though once my death guard are a little more complete, it may be time to do a full army.

 

But that's some ways off, and for now I'm trying to figure out my esthetic out of things I already own. So here are my fist two test models. "Steel Legion"-esque veteran and crusader. After taking the photo I noticed that the crusader's head is of center so I need to fix that, as well as fill and fix details on both of them. Hope you enjoy what I have to start.
