Mephiston red as the base, a dark purple wash(self mix), dry brush of mephiston, dark blue wash(again self mixed), mephiston red with a bit of white in it drybrushed to lighten up the middle. Quite pleased how it turned out without me obsessing over details... Otherwise I will never get these done. Also a quick kitbash of a banner bearer and the first of my most likely honor guard. Does it look better when a bits painted in? Got some more work done on it.
