I got my dark angel doors today, they are nice and the iconography is very cool, slightly disappointed though that you can see the 3D print lines on the doors:

It's most noticeable on the rhino doors and front plates.

Its not so noticeable on the Land Raider and Repulsor doors, but you can just about make it out on them in the right light.

Not sure if it will show up when painted or not. Probably not on the LR and repulsor, but I think it might on the rhino doors.

Not the best, however if the lines do show up through the paint, a little  whit or gold on them, a little squiggle and you got lots of nice rows of text to go on the doors

Litanies of faith etc :D

Otherwise call FW and worst case scenario is they say, sand it down, best case, a new set of doors for free.

tbh id probably end up returning them.

When i buy 3d printed stuff from shapeways or something, I go in knowing it may be somewhat visible.

When I buy stuff from FW or GW, I honestly dont think its acceptable for recasts to have that kind of thing still visible, they should have been properly cleaned up before being cast.

Yeah it seems a bit lazy to be honest. Either that or it was an oversight in production. I haven't seen print lines on any FW model before.

Everybody who buys them will see this because it would be part of the mold as they can't have removed it from the master models properly. You'll just get the same thing if you ask for replacements.
