This will almost certainly get patched out at some point, but for the time being there's a plug-in for Firefox and Chrome that will allow your browser to get around the hosting... shenanigans with Photobucket. Mind, this is not to say that it's a good idea to start hosting there -- this plugin only works on the viewer's side -- but for archival viewing purposes, it's brilliant.

Oh, don't get me wrong -- Photobucket is still a horrible choice to use. The B&C gallery is a great and valuable alternative, and I much prefer it to any other options.

The intent of sharing this addon is to provide people with a way to view old images in plogs affected by Photobucket's policy changes, not to encourage people to continue or begin using the service. I apologise if I did not make that clear in my original post.
