Has there ever been a B&C Secret Santa event?

I'm asking because a certain video game related forum I frequent on seems to be imploding, and what really bums me out is that there might not be a Secret Santa for me to take part in this year.

Sadly I cannot volunteer myself to organize one with my baby boy taking most of my spare time still. I know organizing can be a pain. But it's also great great fun.

For those unfamiliar with the concept:

- You give your address to a trusted third party along with details such as your interests. A wishlist of sorts.

- You are given an address and details to sent a present. The minimum value is agreed upon. 20€ or such, perhaps.

- Someone gets your details and sends you a present.

Oh, they painted and sent minis. That's pretty cool, even if not for those of us who hardly have the time to paint our own minis lol.

For those who are tight on money but have enough spare bits and pieces lying around to build a single Space Marine, for example, building and painting up a model is a much more accessible gift so that should be kept in mind as well. :smile.: It also makes the present a bit more personal.

Agreed!

I like this idea, I'd definitely be interested in taking part.

A single unpainted model would be about right I think, fun conversions encouraged. I don't think preferences are needed are they? Just 40k stuff.

And a thread to show them off and say thanks.

I would certainly be interested in doing this, although I will be away from my paints and plastic over the Christmas/New Year weeks so my submission would possibly be early/late.
