Hi all,

So my son is really looking in to Grey Knights - he's 9 and he has Stormcast Eternals in AoS so jumping to more knights in shining armour for 40k is right up his alley. He has already been gifted 10 old metal GKs in power armour with halberds and 2 incinerators, but what do you recommend he looks at picking up next?

cheers,

Ash

Anything he thinks is cool is the short answer. At age 9 he doesn't need to be building cutting edge competitive lists, and having cool models that he likes will probably help keep his interest in the game strong. Where does he play mostly? If he's likely to need a strong list to compete against competitive sorts at the club who might see a newbie player as a good opportunity to improve their win/ loss ratio then maybe include some grandmaster dreadknights, a Stormraven and some strike squads in razorbacks.

That is good the dreadknight GM is an auto include in GK armies. Some paladins aka terminators models. 1-2 razorbacks for his power armored GK. a NDK GM and he is set to play. Everything else probably won't enhance his xp at 9 years, and there is a good chance it will dimish it.

Well if you are bringing Death Guard then he really needs to be bringing the pimp of all daemon bashing pimps Kaldor Draigo, not only is he a beast but he will certainly want to be putting the beats down on old Morty if you decide to get him.
