Magos Valkamar
... And from Astartes in general really. I'm not really enjoying painting or playing marines, so I've decided to pack away my Unforgiven for a while and try another army (Mechanicus). I know I don't really post here very often, but I thought It would be impolite to just up and leave. Goodbye for now! jbaeza94 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/340786-taking-a-break-from-the-unforgiven/ Share on other sites
Helycon
Just don't chuck any, you may want to revisit at some point! Mechanicum isn't really my thing, but probably the closest thing you can be to something Imperial without having to build a million conscripts. Mechanicum is a bit more elite minded and a bit more steam punk. Enjoy it and someday, you will return to the fold ;) Magos Valkamar 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/340786-taking-a-break-from-the-unforgiven/#findComment-4917351 Share on other sites
jbaeza94
you know, its funny. i was so excited when the mechanicus armies came out, i got both LE codex. In fact, the whole reason i even made my Iron Lions was to have them be close allies with my mechanicus army. I always thought the minis were awesome, and i liked the fluff. Sadly, the only mini for that army ive painted (despite having a whole war convocation) is the teach priest dominus. when i finish my Iron Lions, i hope to paint my mechanicus army, then follow up with some guard ( a squad or 2, maybe a tank or something). i dont think ill ever really play either, but ive created my own fluff around the three, and id like to have a nice little landscape, maybe ally them to my marines for fluff reasons once or twice a year. i hope you enjoy your mechanicus army. I hope to see you around here again in the future.
