Forward Operatives and Dedicated Transports

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I have only had a few games of 8th edition so far. Would Alpha Legion's Forward Operatives confer to a Dedicated Transport? I've rummaged through the rule books and can't seem to come to an answer. Thanks!

As far as I can tell, no it wouldn't

No, the stratagem refers to the unit being set up as hidden specifically as an infantry unit. You can't use the rule to target a vehicle. When deploying an infantry unit with a dedicated transport you may either declare the unit is hidden via the stratagem or is embarked on the transport. In the first case the unit and transport are deployed separately and in the second case the transport is deployed with the unit embarked on it.
