Hello,

Does anyone run Coteaz with AM?

I have a mix of AM + GK and Coteaz with some plebs from 5th ed.

I am thinking of mashing it all together instead of spending $$ on a 'pure' list.

Coteaz looks interesting. His spy network with some PG buddies (I realise they are over costed) could land some cheap shots in. Is my understanding that this ability is triggered on DS or similar AND anything disembarking that deployed in a transport?

Does terrify from Coteaz stack with terrify from primaris?

Could be fun to get a GK to LD 10 and whack on a -3 LD on the enemy test on a purge soul

I will be trying 2 basic inquisitors this evening. Pretty much for psyker and LD9 bubbles for my guard.

Yes the inquisition powers stack with marines, since they are different powers. you could also stack with the guard -2LD power and give them -5LD

I ran Greyfax with a couple of deathwatch allies - the most valuable thing was to Ld10 bubble, which prevented virtually my entire army routing on turn 1. Coteaz could help a great deal with a AM army and a similar capacity - just remember that he's quite squishy

I have run Coteaz and Greyfax in my Guard lists. Mostly I use them for the leadership buff and psychic capabilities for both offense and defense. Coteaz is okay but neither character is a combat monster. I have since dropped Coteaz and I am currently running only Greyfax to see how a single inquisitor works out. I don't think Coteaz's special abilities justify the increased point cost.
