I was doing a search of this site and the web for this and didn't come up with much, so I thought it might be a good time to get a list going.

I'd like to hear about them in both 30K and 40K. It would also be nice to know which books deal with the Custodes a lot, instead of them just playing a small part in the story.

In 40K I believe the most recent books must be the only ones. Read first the "Vaults of Terra: The Carrion Throne", then the "Watchers of the Throne: The Emperor's Legion". The first takes place just before the fall of Cadia and the Great Rift, while the second is during these events. I enjoyed both.

Blood Games (a HH short) by Dan Abnett is the first I remember to focus on a Custodian.

There are also prominent supporting roles for Custodes in Nemesis and The First Heretic, with less prominent ones in the Outcast Dead and Burning of Prospero (if I recall correctly).
