Space Marine Desert Themed Army

Hello, I'm starting a new Space Marine army and would like to paint them in a desert theme but don't really know what colors to use to get this effect.  My main goal is to paint the power armor in a desert color. Does anyone maybe have an idea on what colors I should use. Thanks in advance

Maybe look into painting guides for WWII Africa Korps, both infantry and armor. Their clothing tended to favor browns and tans, while their armor (depending on year) was brown and grey, green and brown, or yellow-brown and sand. Mind you, few if any of those guides use Citadel paints, favoring Vallejo, Battlefront's Colours of War line, or Army Painter.

The Vallejo Model color line is where you are going to want to go for painting this scheme.
