Brother Crimson
Hello, I am looking for a good way to store and carry my minis to games. I would like a case that can carry about a company of marines with 3 predators and 3 dreadnought. I currently have a small battle foam case that is good for tactical marines but some minis are very hard to fit correctly (inceptors, banners etc) and I will need to move to a larger case anyway for the tanks. 1. I looked at the crusade case that seems to be a good flexible option. Does anyone have tried to fit similar setup as me? 2. For battle foam option, what size would allow multiple « large base » pack 720? 432? 3. If you have other setup I am open to suggestions. Damo1701
Personally, my Crusade case holds the following: 1 Sicarian Punisher 1 Vindicator Laser Destroyer 2 Razorbacks 10 Dark Furies 10 Tactical Marines 5 Devastator Marines 5 Tartaros Terminators 4-5 Characters Plus Primaris half of Dark Imperium. (Never used them yet... they are just stored there) plus 5 Thousand Sons tactical marines, 5 more Tartaros Terminators, and Ahriman. There s still plenty of space for other models. Fhanados
Personally, my Crusade case holds the following: 1 Sicarian Punisher 1 Vindicator Laser Destroyer 2 Razorbacks 10 Dark Furies 10 Tactical Marines 5 Devastator Marines 5 Tartaros Terminators 4-5 Characters Plus Primaris half of Dark Imperium. I've got a Crusade case as well but struggle to fit vehicles (mostly rhino chassis) in any secure way that doesn't risk damage (or take up heaps of room. How do you manage it? Damo1701
I slide the hull under 2-3 strips of foam, so that it sits horizontally on top of the hull. I can fit 1-2 hulls in a foam. They do bulge a bit, but, a full case then clipping it shut means there is very little movement. Xenith
As per family, I can fit about 200 marines into a crusade case. A foam will take 2 rhino chassis and about 10 other models. The tanks actually work to keep other models in place. Seeing as you get 8 foams you could probably squish 16 rhinos and 80 marines on 32mm bases on there.
