jbaeza94
With a lot of big and unusually shaped bugs, i was wondering how you guys transport them. I have one of those GW boxes for my marines, and i figure i could fit my gaunts and pants stealers in there as well. However, what do you guys do for the big ones? In looking for something in a hard case (i travel often). Any suggestions? Thanks... swarm brothers? Filkarion
A tool case and some isolating foam from a DIY store do the trick cheaply for me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/341264-miniature-transport/#findComment-4930205 Share on other sites
Xenith
I've found the new(ish) style of gw case/foam pretty adaptable, and it comes is a hard case format for like £80 or so. I think all my gribblies will fit in a crusade case no problem. My stormraven did. dwez
I use a variety of cheap plastic tubs and wrap the model in bubble wrap. Usually I can fit a Tervigon in one with space round the edges for a Venomthrope and a Broodlord as well. I'm not throwing it around so it only needs rigid protection and a little padding. I also have a Trygon in an old plastic Transformers lunchbox Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/341264-miniature-transport/#findComment-4933788 Share on other sites

The wings on mine are removable, though, and I have the landing struts deployed. Raven goes on its side in the bottom, wings slot into the gaps. upper smaller foam insert gets turned upside down. Base fits in the gap between the left and right foam inserts. The raven does take up almost a quarter of the crusade case, but it fits.
