Mark of chaoss ,what do they do now ?

so I had my 1st game playing CSM with the new dex this past weekend .

i was running a list of alpha legion and fallen , and all the units that could take a mark of chaos were khorne . but i can't find in the book what benefit you get form taking a mark of chaos . there is a section where is talls what a mark is but no where that I can find does it say what it does .

 

I have to say using the book in the game i found it very poorly organized and badly layed out .

 

over all I was happy with the way the army played , like any 1st game with an new book or new army i forgot quite a few things , but was happy with the performance of the army .

 

can someone point me to where the info on the different marks can be found in the book , if it is even in the book .

Marks don't do anything on their own. Just like other keywords they enable you to benefit from other rules/abilities/powers. Like there are stratagems that only work on Slaanesh units or a psychic power that only works on Slaanesh units.
