Gibbous
Has anyone used the golden iridescent or interference paints on a model? I'd like to see some examples of how it looks painted, or suggestions on how to use them, before shelling out $40 for 4 paints... Thanks in advance! Gibbous
So I did a little research trying to find out what it would look like. I found a YouTube video that looks pretty good. I'll do a review as well once I get something painted (I order 4 of the colors though). Bung
I have used both, and they work like any other acrylic artist paint. I use iridiscent pearl for my top highlights for true metalic metal as it is the brightest silver i have encountered yet and iridiscent bronze is my go to gold and brass color for tmm. I tried the interference purple once but its something i have to do more tests. You can mix the iridiscent colors without problems with your other acrylics but the bronze will seperate really fast on a wet palette so better use it on a normal palette. Gibbous
Thank you for the advice! Have you used any of the green to blue, etc? Bung
No, i have not. I bought the interference purple to use as a basecolor for some Noise Marines, but i didnt use it for miniatures as i completly left 40k with this edition. I still need to try that color in an airbrush.
