Do people use Spyders, and how do they load them out? I want them for gloom prisms since I don't have much defense against Psykers. Everything else is tempting but costly. The guns seem nice, but 20 points for no AP or Tesla is a bit much. The fab array also seems nice but currently all my vehicles are much faster than a Spyder so not sure I'd get much use out of it. I have yet to see one in a battle report. Any ideas?

I've used mine a few times now. Without the gun I always feel like it's not doing enough. The gun itself is nothing great and costs more than I think it should, but I think it needs it anyway. Hopefully it gets a price reduction in the codex (and hopefully that is soon!).

Haven't used it with a fab array yet because I haven't played enough games big enough to include a bunch of vehicles. I should be able to try it out soon though. I assume I won't find it worthwhile, since Spyders cost so much for so little use already and it won't be a very significant amount of healing.

I think Spyders in general are in a weird spot where they don't know what they should do with them. They can do a fair amount of damage in CQC but cost too much to risk (and tend to be much squishier than the kinds of things their claws want to charge). Regenerating scarabs is ok, maybe if you have a large swarm that's constantly charging forward as a distraction unit with the Spyder behind them? Use scarabs to bubble wrap. Haven't tried that yet, though. If I didn't need psychic protection badly I probably wouldn't bother with Spyders right now.
