A new HH DA character model?

Who's this? Plain TDA, templar shield, Empire greatsword (?) - is this a kitbash? Else?

Doesnt look like a kitbash, also the lion's head was one of the teasers bits in the community site. Probably a special character, maybe a generic consul for DA, whatever it is it certainly is for Horus Heresy Dark Angels or Blackshields.

Kitbash. 30k Abaddon model as a base, DA head, Cataphractii Praetor pauldrons, AoS White Lions fur cape and axe, Empire sword, iron halo converted from a Grey Knight force staff head.

 

Nice conversion nonetheless!

 

Edit: Tilt Shield from the Grey Knight Strike Squad kit. There, did I miss anything?

This wasn't a valid news/rumor topic, so it was closed in the NRFA forum. It is, however, a very nicely converted model for the Horus Heresy setting, so I've moved it into the Age of Darkness forum and re-opened it for discussion.

 

If you like the model, don't give it a like here. Find @DaemonPrinceDargor's posts and tell him how much you like it. I think that he first posted it at the B&C here, but it's difficult to tell because, y'know, Photobucket.

Its a great kitbash. legs torso are abbadon, a buddy of mine and I spend about 10 minutes looking though kits to find all the bits, they are all GW/FW you could do your own, the guy wont tell you where he got his bits from. Great Kit bash imo.

the cloak is from the Space Wolf Terminator kit with a High Elf (Aelf?) head attached.

Yeah great conversion. The only thing letting it down, for me, is the lion head. That sculpt is starting to show its age.

Still think it’s great overall though.
