Hello all,

I am building a small but ornate army of Imperial Fists, and I was wondering if Custodes shoulderpads would sit well on Marine shoulders. I was hoping to use them to well mark out my HQs and other leaders.

Any help, particularly with pictures, would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the comment about the AL lord. He was fun and I did finally put that mini to use.

As for the iconography I think the custodes' eagle could pass for looking simply imperial. The eagle is the symbol of the Imperium. The actual symbol of the custodes is a one headed eagle with a skull over the chest, right? Regardless I think you could make it work. I do not think its that drastic of a difference between a balled fist and a winged sword.

Well, since I have problems uploading to B&Cs gallery... I'll have three links to my DA.

Note how the pad covers everything?

Hope this is a help somehow.
If these pictures are to big or if I'm going against some rules, jst notify me and I'll just post links.
All in all I think Custodes Shoulderpads are to huge.
The Guardian Spear of my Preatore looks way to oversized for example :D

I think that might work on mine - they're truescale, so the pauldrons will look proportionately less huge. Ooh, excitable excitement!

IMMEDIATE EDIT: And thank you very much for the pics!

I doubt it.
Custodes shoulder pads fit to Marine shoulders, meaning they both share the same shoulder.
Terminator pads fit to bigger shoulders, so while you could stick them to a Custodes, their pads are too small to use on Terminators.

You could always cut it to fit. Just cut and file away at the terminator shoulder and pop on the pad.
