balordazul
I have the chapter approved book and I'm not happy about the contents vs the price as I feel all of this should have been free content located in other outlets. My question is did I miss the points adjustment for SM chain fists? I saw the CSM got a fair point adjustment to 14 points putting them nicely between power first and thunder hammers but I did not see this option for SM. I'm I that over worked right now that my eyes are not working or did SM not get the point change for chain fists? I don't see a new FAQ posted but I wanted to double check if I'm having user error. DarkCrusader93
I've only had a quick look though it myself and i agree it doesn't seem worth the money tbh unless you play more than one army..... i can't remember seeing a points change for space marine chain fists now that you mention it i don't think they did. Bung
Chaos doesnt have Thunderhammers and other stuff. Maybe its something for a more inner codex balance of the chaos codex to make chainfists attractive for them.
balordazul
True, but that is bad game design they should have a equivalent quality weapon. It really is not us vs them but what is better for the game a whole. Chaos is still way behind the times in gear and units but GW is very focused on the stupid primaris marines and did some interesting choices with Death Guard. I have a large collection of terminators with chainfists and I do use them but I cringe every time as they are pointed poorly at 22 points. I like playing with different types of units from time to time it is like exercising different parts of my army. I'm glad to know I did not miss it so maybe it will be updated in a FAQ as an errata.
