Ok guys, stay away from the bickering and post constructively. We've all been in these kind of topics before (well, many of us at least) and know how they work.

 

 

 

 

Personally, I think this thread has ran its course. In the end we have many competitive options in CSM codex, and the ability to ally with other chaos factions to fill in gaps in your force with daemons, R&H, or DG is powerful.

Yes thank you. In the end Chaos is on a stronger footing than it has been in years and a chaos soup army is stronger to the point it does well/is popular with the tournamemt scene.

One of the massively dodged truth's however is that the vast mayority of Tournament top 3 lists are soups. Be it Chaos or Imperium.

 

The fact is that this edition rewards soups for all. Chaos and Imperium have the most unit acces and as a result can use the strongest choices from book A, B or C. The suggestive idea sometimes found in this topic is that any use their codex solely. Even the strongest shown faction, AM, does not just use choices from Codex AM.
