Taking the Index out for the last dance

Those of us about to die, salute you!

This evening I am fighting my last battle using Imperial Index I.

As a tribute to the hardship of the olden days I will be using the Index as written. And the plan is to field as many blood angels only units in a 1500 points list.

 

Here are the dead men walking:

The sanguinor

Lemartes

SG ancient with sword, plasma pistol and mask.

8 SG: 1 fist, 5 swords, 2 axes, 8 plasma pistols, 2 masks.

10 DC with JP, bolter and chainsword

10 DC with the same gear

Baal Pred with flamestorm and 2 heavy flamers

Baal Pred as above.

1500pts of men charging to their death, knowing that He will pass his judgement.

looks good. I did the same on Monday and powered to a comfortable victory against the Tau. Sunday should be my first game with the codex, and I cannot wait.

We had a friendly game with too much snacks and much sportsmanship.

 

My dice were on fire and his were cold as ice. His frist shooting phase saw one baal pred suffer a grand total of 2 damage. He fired 7 krak missiles and 1 melta gun, all in range of his chaos lord, spent 1 CP to reroll a damage roll and still only did 2 damage.

 

At the end of my turn 2 all the jumpers save 5 DC reached his lines and both baals were in range to flame units.
