Blood Angel Legion Idea

Hey everyone!

 

So I was looking into the possible mish-mashing of Blood Angels and their successors again and I think I might have come up with an idea. I can paint all the armor in the color of the Blood Angels but I can show their original chapter badge on their right knee pad. This way I can tie in multiple successor chapters under the Blood Angels Legion again and use all the cool Blood Angel swag.

 

Think this might work?

Should be fine as long as you don't include any special characters of those chapters I guess.

My question tho is why not use one of the pauldrons for their chapter badge? Basically like Deathwatch.

The shoulder pads for the blood angels look too good not to use. I’ll give it more thought but this way I can put the chapter symbol on the knee pad and show them all as Legion blood angels.

Yeah that's why I thought about using only one like the Deathwatch. One Blood Angel shoulder pad and one successor shoulder pad. That's what I'll probably do with any further non easy-to-build models I'm going to buy (I really don't want to put in the efford and chop those up...).

My plan is to throw the BA chapter badge on the right shoulder of my successor chapter.
