Reading through the 2nd edition codex, in the ‘Eavy Metal section about Grey Hunters, it actually stated that the Space Wolves “are assigned armour and weapons in a much more ad hoc way than other Chapters...individuals may retain armour and weapons long after their fellows have received new or replacement gear. Therefore it is quite possible for a squad to have Space Marine armour in a variety of marks. Mark VII and Mark VI are most common, but it is not unusual to see mark IV or V on a grizzled veteran or Sargeant...” Edited December 19, 2017 by Rockythedog
