Any 40K tournaments held in Jan or Feb in the UK?

The nationals/Oslo GT is canceled this year. (I think the reason is connected to the contract and availability of the venue they used the last years.)

 

So I am considering traveling from Norway to the UK (or Germany, but my german is really bad). Can any of my UK brothers recomend a tournament held in January or the two first weeks of February?

I was hoping for something "non GW", but when starving......

 

I looked into a few options

the last chance open: warhammer 40K

and a fellow from the Norwegian ETC suggested The Belgian team championship in Feb

The London GT in May will be fun. I'll be going to that :-)

 

Might be worth looking into, and it's worth coming over for a few extra days to experience London.

The problem is the timing. My wife is an in-turn. And with the Norwegian model the internship is divided into two parts. The first part was at a local hospital, but the second part will be at a regional medical senter and she will be moving off for 6 months, leaving me with the kids. This will be in March.

 

That means the London GT will be during her absence. Unless I can convinse my mother to look after the boys, the London GT will be hard/impossible to pull off.

But, if i put the wheels in motion, and do some planning, I might send the kids off to their grandmom or have her come up to Tromsø and look after the kids.

There will be others. I am just eager to get one in before a 6 months period with no gaming
