I just opened my Hellblaster Squad box, and found that it contains two of the upgrade sprues. This is a serious discount, considering how little the DA box costs more than the regular box, and that even one upgrade sprue usually costs a lot more than that price difference.

Edit: I assume that the same is true for the Intercessor box.

In other news: I'm a bit disappointed by the dice, they all have the chapter symbol as a 6. Thought the bone dice would have the DW symbol and the black dice the RW symbol. :sad.:

Other than that, there are a few interesting tidbits in regards to Primaris integration, how and when

Luther was freed
and some more information on Cypher. He's a man with a plan, apparently.

Can't say I'm disappointed overall, it's looking pretty good.

Gotta build a regular Lieutenant, two RW Talonmasters and finish Sammael on his speeder now.

Oh boy, new projects.  And I haven't even finished all the old ones. Good thing I'm on vacation now, and time for me to resurrect my forge threads.

I think our plasma strategem makes hellblasters awesome but you gotta take a full unit. It also makes plasma Inceptors good I think. Gonna try it on Tuesday. Unfortunately still doesn’t make the vengeance good lol. And black knights are still too expensive. But probably fun.

Not convinced Black Knights are too expensive with the advance, shoot and charge strat.  Even though they take the -1 to hit with shooting (Which normal bikers do not).

The -1 makes over charging pretty risky.

That said with relics of the dark age maybe you don’t need to overcharge.

I think they can be very effective. The mine issue they have, which the Vengeance also has, is random number of shots.

That said, they can deal 18 damage as minimum when you drop them in, overcharged with stratagem. So not bad ;)

I already knew it had 2 sprues in the 10-man boxes though, due to how many shoulders are in the upgrade sprue. :)

I've tried the inceptor plasma without and with the stratagem overcharging is awesome on both counts, the added buff of an extra wound takes down high toughness targets with large wound stats even though you need 4's to wound due to sheer volume of shots.

The rapid fire hellblasters with Azreal are going to be pretty stock fare for this edition by the look of it.

I've tried Black Knights a few times but my mate who i play against a lot has a thunderfire cannon and dev heavy bolters and uses both stratagems to force them to virtually crawl across the board. Were also getting more terrain heavy something I noticed is a trend from Warhammer TV in the GT last week. The fact that you can't run them up buildings or onto crates is going to be a major factor.

The changes on character targeting would mike me reluctant about fielding 2 of the new speeders but 1 with the eye of the unseen seems a solid shout.

the inceptors seem like a much better deal all round than the BK's & normal bikes the HB versions are pretty cheap for chaff clearing and are assault weapons.

I love Attack bike's but hitting on 4's with a single weapon even with a re-roll + their cost means the vast part of my beloved ravenwing are going to see very little action this edition.

As a final note if you have a squad of 4 of the inceptor plasma they can delete multiple targets with 1 CP
