Deafbok
Hi all, My gaming group have been chatting about the vagaries of the various editions and a couple of us are looking at doing a direct comparison between 8th and past versions of the game by getting some games in using the various incarnations of the system down the years. However, things like my old 4th edition rulebooks (2 Battle for Macragge mini ones!) have gone walkabout. Does anyone know where one might be able to source old material that GW no longer supplies, legally? Not sure how they treat, for example, digital versions of phased out stuff. Cheers! Kurgan the Lurker
They are still covered under copyright/trademark. So legally, eBay and/or other auction sites are your best bet. Thrift stores, garage sales etc. Deafbok 1 Back to top
Deafbok
Thanks, appreciated! Guess eBay is our best bet here on the Southern tip of Africa, then.
Brother Casman
Might not hurt to check out used book stores, either. Deafbok 1 Back to top
Deafbok
Thanks gents - was hoping GW might have some kind of little-known archival repository, but I guess that's a bunk!
Deafbok
I found my missing old books! 3rd ed game vs Speed Freeks out of the Armageddon Codex coming up later this evening. Building my army list, man oh man has that aspect of the game changed. Veterans were pretty worthless back then! Tacticals? Kings of MSU!
